Parna is a small genus of seven species from the palaearctic region. In Britain there are two species. The genus is absent from Ireland.

The genus can be characterised within the Fenusini by the following features. The pedicel is longer than broad. The post-genal carina is present and extends behind the eyes and the prepectus is present. In the forewing the stub vein A2+A3 is straight. The hind wing has the radial cell present. The tarsal claws have a basal lobe but no inner tooth.

Larvae feed in marginal leaf mines of Tilia species causing leaf deformity.
