Dineura
There are considered to be 10 species of Dineura primarily distributed across the palaearctic region with one species in the nearctic. There are 3 species present in Britain and Ireland.
The Dineura are best keyed using Liston et al, 2019. The wing venation is variable across the genus and in the forewing vein 2r-rs can be present or absent from the marginal cell and the intercostal vein Sc is usually located distal to the point where vein M joins vein R. The anal cell is widely divided into a basal and apical portion but the basal sector is open. The tarsal claws lack any basal lobe.
Larvae feed on the leaves of Betulaceae and Rosaceae species.
