Plant-sawfly larvae associations
The following pages are a summary of the known food plants for sawfly larvae. Some plants listed for some species may be spurious arising from misidentification of either plant or sawfly in the past. Some of these historic errors persist but for the most part the relationships are valid. The food plants are drawn from a broad range of literature and the primary sources are given in the references below. Since some references only give a plant genus for a sawfly species, whilst others specify a plant species, the lack of a sawfly species under a genus does not necessarily preclude the species which may be listed under one plant species only.
