Euura plicalapponum - ischnocera group (formerly Phyllocolpa plicalapponum Kopelke, 2007)

Larvae feed on downy willow which is an upland species. The larvae cause a leaf fold, either spirally twisted or a marginal fold.

 

Size: Female: 3.5 - 4.4mm, male: no data

Status: Rare

Distribution: Scotland

Flight period: Uni- or bivoltine

Plant associations: Salix lapponum (downy willow)
