Euura fuscomaculata

In the female the abdomen is almost entirely black above. The mesopleura, hind orbits are mainly black and the front and middle lobes of mesonotum are usually mainly black. The male is unknown.

Euura fuscomaculata larvae feed on aspen.

Size: Female: 5.0 - 6.0mm.

Status: Rare

Distribution: England, Scotland

Flight period: May to June

Plant associations: Populus tremula (aspen).
